Parking Update for October

Road and utility work continues on 11th Street as part of the Ramsay Inglewood Public Realm Improvements Project.

As part of this work, reconstruction of the north parking lot driveway has begun. All access to the north parking lot will be via 20th Avenue, using the rear (eastern) lane behind the Ramsay Design Centre.

This lane has been opened to allow for improved two-way vehicle movement. The driveway replacement is expected to take approximately two weeks, after which the concrete will have cured and the driveway will be reopened for use.

  • When coming to the shop you will access the North parking lot from the south side by 20th Avenue, with parking available anywhere around the building.
  • There will also be street parking available on 19th and 20th Avenue.

The current one-way northbound condition on 11th Street now extends from 21st Avenue to 18th Avenue.

Southbound vehicle traffic will be diverted to use 9th Street, via 18th Avenue., before returning to 11th Street via 21st Avenue.

Temporary Changes to Vehicle Traffic:

  • 11th Street between 21st Avenue and 18th Avenue will become a one-way NORTHBOUND, while southbound traffic will be temporarily diverted to use 9th Street.
  • 18th Avenue between 11th Street and 9th Street will be converted to a one-way WESTBOUND.
  • Southbound 11th Street access will be from 21th Avenue only. No access to southbound 11th Street from 18th Avenue, 19th Avenue or 20th Avenue.

Changes to Bus Transit Routes:

  • The northbound bus stop at 21st Avenue, servicing Route 302 and Route 24 will be temporarily relocated.
  • Please go to Calgary Transit’s Service Updates webpage and enter your bus route number to see your temporary bus stop location.

We will provide updates regarding any major disruptions throughout the project but detours or lane changes will continue. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
